Books in blocks of ice.
Inspired by this: http://www.ineedtostopsoon.com/category/projects/the-frozen-library/ I decided to freeze to books into blocks of ice. Whilst I think they look interesting they don’t really work for my project, because I want people who view the books to be able to choose whether to leave them frozen as sculptures or to pick them up and read them. With books in blocks of ice they would have to be left to defrost for a few hours before being anywhere near readable. So instead I am no going to look at just putting ice around the cover of books.
